The 2017 Ohio Attorney General’s Law Enforcement Conference will be held on October 11th & 12th, at the Hyatt Regency-Columbus. To continue with Attorney General DeWine’s priority of Protecting Ohio, this year’s conference theme is Protecting Ohio: Cybersecurity. With dwindling resources and increasingly cunning criminals, law enforcement agencies across Ohio and the nation have to work harder, smarter, and more collaboratively than ever before. Protecting Ohio’s families is a mutual priority we all are working towards every day. Please save the date for our upcoming October event. The conference fee for the two days of training will again be $125.00. Registration is expected to open in August. The Economics of Corruption 2017: Detecting the Intrinsic Drivers of Anticorrupt
Recent years have seen growing skepticism towards control and compliance and the related administrative burden. Novel methods of anticorruption focus on detecting the intrinsic rather than the extrinsic drivers that might motivate ethical government. Participants learn about this experimental and behavioral research by help of lectures, games and interactive modules. They are guided to develop appropriate designs and work in groups to implement their own experiments.
