  10th European Congress on Violence in Clinical Psychiatry
The 10th European Congress on Violence in Clinical Psychiatry is co-organized by the European Violence in Psychiatry Research Group (EViPRG) & the European Network for Training in the Management of Aggression (ENTMA08), and is a World Psychiatric Association (WPA) co-sponsored meeting. The 10th European Congress on Violence will focus strongly on clinically relevant and practically useful interdisciplinary scientific and practical knowledge with regard to interventions aimed at treating and reducing violence and aggression. ICPA 19th AGM and Conference
The ICPA’s annual conference is the largest international gathering of correctional professionals and practitioners of its kind, attracting in the region of 450+ attendees from over 60 countries with representatives from all continents. The ‘Balkan Criminology’ One-Week Intensive Course will be held from 22nd to 27th October at the Inter-University Center in Dubrovnik. The course provides in-depth and up-to-date knowledge about the state of art in crime research in the Balkans, while introducing its participants to the basics of criminological methodology, phenomenology and etiology. It is part of the overall scientific programme of the Max Planck Partner Group for Balkan Criminology, which is jointly established between the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Criminal Law and the Zagreb Faculty of Law - University of Zagreb/Croatia and funded by Germany’s leading research foundation - the Max Planck Society. Youth and Justice Congress 2017
YOU'RE INVITED to the Canadian Youth and Justice Congress 2017: Advancing Ideas, Evidence and Innovation to shape a Canadian perspective of youth justice! Annual Meeting of Asian Association for Substance Abuse Research 2017
The 5th annual meeting of Asian Association for Substance Abuse Research (AASAR) will take place on October 22-27, 2017 in several locations in Yunnan Province of China near the Golden Triangle, one of the most beautiful areas in the world but also a region historically known for rampant drug trade. The meeting is jointly organized by AASAR, The Research & Support Center for Narcotics Control and AIDS Prevention of Yunnan University, and Chinese Association of Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment, Chapter of Medicine Maintenance Therapy. In addition to meeting sessions hosted in Kunming for scholarly presentations and reports, the association will also organize field trips to the border region between China and Myanmar for attendees to gain firsthand experiences of efforts made by government agencies to suppress drug trafficking activities and to prevent and treat drug abuse. The theme of this year’s meeting focuses on drug issues in the frontier regions of the “One Belt One Road” development. The conference will be held in both English and Chinese.
