  2017 29th Annual NHIA Conference
Description:
The annual National Homicide Investigators Association conference was created to expose all investigators, detectives, crime scene investigators, medical examiner investigators, etc…to a wide variety of interesting and unusual cases. There will be depth reviews of high profile cases with the hopes of assisting agencies in overcoming the challenges cases of this magnitude present during the entire judicial process. 6th Annual National Animal Cruelty Prosecution Conferenc
Description:
The Conference will be held in Portland, OR on the dates of November 15-17, 2017. In partnership with the Animal Legal Defense Fund, the Association of Prosecuting Attorneys will host the 7th National Animal Cruelty Prosecution Conference. The goal of this training is to provide prosecutors, law enforcement and allied professionals with the requisite skills to strengthen links between the criminal justice system and the community by protecting our most vulnerable victims and to enhance prosecutors’ ability to successfully identify and prosecute animal cruelty and animal fighting cases. This conference is intended for prosecutors, law enforcement and animal control officers, veterinarians and related disciplines involved in the prosecution of animal cruelty crimes.
