The 17th AJFO Conference
The 17th Association for Justice-Involved Females and Organizations (AJFO) Conference is presented by the County of Santa Clara. The Santa Clara County Office of Women’s Policy is organizing all aspects of the conference. The theme of this conference is Changing the Narrative for Justice Involved Women and Girls: The Journey from Reform to Transformation. The European Crime Prevention Award (ECPA) and Best Practice Conference (BPC)
The highlight of the EUCPN year is the Best Practice Conference (BPC) for sharing and disseminating experience and knowledge of best practices in preventing crime and increasing safety and security in EU Member States. The theme for the 2017 conference and call for project proposals is 'Cyber Safety'. We aim to to focus on the cyber safety in a broader sense. We mean maintaining cyber hygiene/ - safety in the communities by combating organised forms of cybercrimes (link to the EU Policy Cycle priorities) raising awareness, including of threats caused by the usage of internet and of smart devices by community members and common people.
