15th international hawai'i summit, preventing, assessing & treating trauma across the lifespan Theme is: "Aloha Spirit in Trauma Informed Care" Honolulu, Hawai'i Hawai'i Convention Center April 16-19, 2018 Join us at the 14th International Summit for the latest research on prevention, assessment, and intervention techniques concerning various aspects of trauma and maltreatment across the lifespan as well as the long-term effects if untreated. Nationally and internationally recognized presenters and local practitioners come together to discuss the latest research, assessment methods, interventions, and prevention strategies for those who have been traumatized, abused, and victimized. 19th Annual Child Abuse & Family Violence Summit

Event: 19th Annual Child Abuse & Family Violence Summit

Dates: April 17-20, 2018

Location: Red Lion Hotel on the River

The Child Abuse and Family Violence Summit is a three-and-a-half day, multi-disciplinary conference for professionals working in the areas of investigations, interviewing, assessment, prosecution, and treatment of child abuse, neglect and domestic violence. 

The Summit is hosted by the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office Child Abuse Team and the Domestic Violence Enhanced Response Team (DVERT). The Summit’s goal is to educate professionals on the complex issues associated with child abuse and family violence, to broaden each professional’s knowledge base in multiple areas, and to increase understanding of the other agencies’ roles and responsibilities.

Our theme, The Power of One in Collaboration with Others, continues throughout the Summit as we learn new ways to work together to protect and make each child safe in our communities.

Conference Registration Registration is limited. Early registration is strongly encouraged. Fee includes all workshops, continental breakfast each day, refreshment breaks, and one conference notebook and USB thumb drive.
